after u take a shower and brush completely thro your hair, braid it into two braids,hairspray it, and leave them in until dry and then take the braids out, then brush thro again and hairspray again.....or if u dont have time in the morning for that, then before you go to bed dampen your hair, braid it,hair spray it,sleep on them, and in the morning take them out brush thro them hairspray them and your ready......GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

you can get a body wave at a salon. remember though if your hair is long it can get spendy.

I have long thick hair also and its hard to get it to hold curls because the weight of our hair pulls them out. Wash your hair at night, then put in some flexible gel and blow dry it. Then set your hair in sponge curlers.....the next morning you will have soft curls (but be prepared, they won't be as curly by afternoon!) good luck!

i have same hair and i am a hairstylist. what i do : put hair in loose pony tail when damp. than part your pony in 4 sections. take each section and spray with light hold hairspray and shine serum roll section down towards your head and pin with 2 bobby pins 1 on each side of the roll. than let dry. when you take your hair out it will have soft natural curls. or you can use a diffuser: take a damp section of hair and spray with light hold spray and shine serum roll around 2 fingers and place loop into diffuser set the blow dry on medium heat and speed on low let each section dry completely before removing from diffuser. do all ever head and then give a light spray!!! good luck. to find good products and more styling ideas visit www.redken.com
