What to do with my thick,curly,wavy,frizzy,long hair?

I have really thick hair and i want to wear it down but the problem is i don't know how to do hair my sister(college now) use to my hair and i don't know what to do!! I alwalys wore my hair in a ponytail my hair is long too. but it's time for a change so any tips on how to get my hair thin so i can wear it down. should i go to the shop and let them handle it or do something else please help me and my hair!

heyy, i have really really fizzy thick poofy hair that goes down to my bum so i brought thining scizzors (wich you can buy for a few dollars from your local chemist or hair dressers) i thinend my hair ! then i put baby oil through my hair (never put to much though) and then i straighten it! OMG i was the happiest person on earth when i first done that because of my hair being so well...HUGE lol then just thining it putting babyoil in your (dry) hair then straightening it wow it does a differance a BIG differance! try this you will love it my friends went from feeling sorry for me to being jealous of me lol good lock

At the salon, ask them to thin it out. They take these things that look like scissors and start at the top of your head and go down, chopping different sections. It looks like they're going to chop of all your hair that way, but its really just removing layers underneath so that it feels and looks thinner. Don't be scared:)

my hair is the same way... go to a good salon and ask for them to thin out your hair- its amazing what a difference it makes...also get a shoulder length cut w/ small layers...it worked for me....now that my hair is shorter it is easier to style and if u use a really good moisturizing shamp/condit ur hair will curl really nicely!

go to salon %26amp; get it thinned out. %26amp; then ask if they can Rebond it. which means they have it straightened and shined to become silky smoothed. it'll be straight forever if u get it rebonded.

use redken anti-frizz polishing milk. I have wavy frizzy hair and it helps me out a lot.

my hair use to be like that until i always wore it curly didnt take care of it properly and my end were very damaged the salon lady cut too much up to my shoulders and i was very heated,then i got use to washing my own hair and straighten it to the point where i got too used to it and used too much exposure of the flat iron at high temperature to my hair and it was dyed too but the dye did no damage the hot iron did and my hair got thin thin and thing its growing back not it was more shorter afterwards then it grew now its 2 inches past my shoulders

i wish i had my long puffy thick hair now just wash it,go to a dominican salon and dont do anything to it just get layers and you will love it
