When it's wet and towel-dried, after combing through the leave-in conditioner (always use this), use a hair serum (anything where the main -- first -- ingredient is cyclomethicone or dimethicone) and rub it in your palms, then apply to your hair, combing through with your fingers.
Repeat the application of the hair serum when your hair is almost dry.
Example of hair serum: Brilliance by Rusk, Frizz-Ease (in drug stores).
Example of leave-in conditioner: Straight %26amp; Smooth by Thermasilk (in drug stores -- you don't have to blow dry to get the benefits), or Paul Mitchell, the blue stuff. And it won't straighten your hair unless you blow it dry that way.
And you should avoid heat (blow drying) since your hair is damaged. Or at least a lot of heat -- don't blow dry it until totally dry!
FYI, when your hair is dry, you could wet your hair and hands then put some serum on your palms, rub together (onto your fingers), then finger comb through your hair.

Deep conditioning and using a frizz serum. Aubrey organics ($8 whole foods) makes a really good natural conditioner that is just for frizz. Its not as moisturizing as my regular conditioner but after using it I had virtually no frizziness at all. If you air dry your hair, put it into two big braids or however many braids you want and let it dry that way, that also helps control frizz.
