Wow...that sounds terrifying. This can be solves easily without spending a ton of money.

Since you mentioned your hair is so thick, you SHOULD go your local salon and have them use "thinning shears" to thin your hair out some. They'll know how to do it right. I wouldn't recommend trying this at home. Second, a serum (as mentioned above) will help work out that frizziness! Such as John Frieda Frizz Ease, or Miracle Shine (Im partial to Miracle Shine) These can be found at any department store like Wal-Mart.

Shampoo AND Conditioner - a good one to try is Got2B "Control Freak" Helps with anti-frizz. Also can be found at places like Wal-Mart.

You could also get a CERAMIC flat iron. These work great for me! I LOOOVE my flat iron! I got one made by Revlon that's ceramic and heats up in about 2 minutes. (About $20, but works really nice) Make sure before using it that you use a serum to protect against heat damage!

Also: a tip to try...When blow drying your hair, try finishing for a couple minutes on thge "cool" setting!

If you like to wear ur hair straight u could get GHD straighteners because they make ur hair sleek %26amp; shiny, even if you do have thick frizzy hair. Theres products you can buy but i dont think the ones u get for use b4 blow drying work, the serums %26amp; waxes that u use after styling seem 2 work best. Hair can be such a pain!

You need a serum....NOT gel or mousse...Try zero frizz or frizz ease.....Only use it on the hair...Not the scalp or you will look greasy..Run it through when its wet then don't blowdry wait till its dry give it a shake and your done...Never brush it when its dry!

my hair has just enough curl in it to be frizzy. i just wash it, use a conditioner and then spray Infusium in it. blowdry it till it's almost dry. then put a few lil dots of a hair product called Smooth %26amp; Shine in the palm of my hand. rub my hands together and then rub it all through my hair and then on the top of my hair. then finish blowing it dry. it makes my hair smooth with no frizziness. you can find it at wal-mart in the black hair section.

I use Reddken polishing milk. My hair has been processed so many times it is just fried, but nobody could ever tell. It looks horrible if I don't blow dry it with this in it and I have to a least put a few bends in it or sometimes I use Reddken hot sets to straighten it and that actually holds the hairs together so you can't even tell it is frizzy. Everyone is always saying to me how do I keep your hair from being so fried. Little do they know, it is, it's just styling tricks I use. I used to straighten my hair everyday and nobody ever knew.
