I have thick curly brown mid-length hair (Half-Puerto-Rican half-Black) I want to cut it but....?

I'm afraid it won't grow back, I also want a bang, but once again i'm afraid if I cut the bang it'll just look stupid while I'm waiting for it to grow back. Any help here?

Don't cut it !!! You already have worry so I think you will regret it too!

Have you tried having it blown/flat ironed straight at a salon? That can give you a new look...If you like it they can sell you an iron and teach you to do it at home. How about getting some highlights in your hair? Perhaps you could have a stylist at the salon show you a few new ways to put your hair up.

I'm not sure what color your complexion is but if it's tan or darker I m sure you look very unique with long hair. It can be harder for some ethnic groups to grow their hair long so be very care full before you cut it... There's plenty of time when your an older woman to have short hair .

You should get your bang.Your hair will grow back.It usually takes hispanics a short amount of time to grow there hair. When blacks cut there hair it takes a while to grow back.Since your both it will most likely take about a year or six months.Get your style as long as it looks nice doit. You'll be taking a riska and everyone will be happy about it.Visit my page and tell me how it went.-Shai

don't worry, if you tell the stylist what you want and take pics she'll probably tell you wether the look will suit you or not, if she says nothing ask her what she thinks. anyways if you care for your hair well, get a trim every 6 weeks it grows out faster. I myself can't run the risk of cutting a bang cause i have the ugliest curly hair and bangs were made for straight hair, but anyways, good luck
