Please help with my super thick hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I'm going to a concert really soon, so I need your help. I have super super thick hair and I really want to straighten it for the concert. but it takes like 2 hours to straighten all of it and it's soo hard doing all of my hair. Do you know any way to make it faster, or any tips. Thanks!!!! I have a 1 1/2 inch CHI and it works really really good, but I'm staying the night a my friends house the night before the concert so I won't have time to go get it straightened at a salon

Unfortunately, there might not be a way to do it without rushing. But, for the future, try using creams that help straighten (Loreal makes some really good ones.) and get your hair thinned at the salon, which makes straightening a good deal easier. Other than that, get off the computer and hurry!

you can either have your friend use a hot iron and you use a hot iron...or you can try an actual iron...lol...sounds crazy but it works and fast...lol...they use to do it in the 60s. just make sure the temp on the iron is not on high...lol if you can cut a piece of your hair from underneath and try ironing it

I have really thick hair, so I know how you feel!

Just do it layer by layer. This takes some time, but I really notice the different. I also clip some of the tops bit back (and twist it a bit, so it looks less plain).

I also use serum, which helps smooth it down a bit, and if It's going to be windy, I put a tiny bit of hair spray in, so it helps it stay straight.

Try putting your hair up in layers that always helps me,for faster straighting try blow-drying it straight when you get out of the shower.Hope I helped :]

Straighten it the night before and just put it up that night. Obviously, don't wash it when you shower that day and you'll be good. Have fun at the concert!

Blowdry your hair with the dryer pointed at the roots. It'll make it dry a little straighter. Also if you sleep on it it may be a little straighter in the morning.

What i would recommend is going to a hair salon and requesting to get a razor cut...(preferably a professional salon) I have really thick/wavy hair and i get it razored cut, which means that they take out alot of hair weight off your head and well least to say it only takes me 30 minutes or less to straighten my hair.. its soo easy now!!

try putting in a ton of hair gel when its still wet then comb it dry
